About GridGridMake
GridGridMake is a small, focused tool for one job: putting an accurate drawing grid on a reference photo so you can transfer it to paper or canvas with the grid method. It is free, needs no account, and does all of its work inside your browser.
What it does well
- Square cells by default, with an honest partial row instead of secretly stretched rectangles.
- A paper and canvas size calculator so you know exactly how big to draw each cell.
- Full-resolution PNG and JPG downloads, a transparent grid overlay, a matching blank grid, and PDF or print on A4 or Letter — fit to page or actual size tiled across sheets.
- Crop, rotate and straighten, grayscale and contrast, labels, diagonal guides, undo, and settings that are remembered on your device.

What it deliberately doesn’t do
No accounts, no uploads, no AI, no social-media grid splitting, no dozens of decorative overlays. If a feature would make the core task slower or less trustworthy, it stays out.
Privacy in one sentence
Your images never leave your browser; the only things stored are your grid preferences and any projects you explicitly save on your device, and the only analytics are anonymous page views and feature counts. Details are on the privacy page.
